Are you ready for another exciting year of tennis in Montreal?

Our Annual NBO Day trip to Montreal is happening. Sit back and relax on the bus, you don't have to worry about parking or driving there. Last year the trip was amazing, some intense matches and practice sessions. From Sabalenka, to our own Gabby Dabrowski hitting some missiles of forehands and backhands. We even had the chance to watch Leylah Fernandez. This year ATP takes over Montreal and many of the top players are expected to be there: Alcaraz, Ruud, Fritz, Tsitsipas, Medvedev, De Minaur, and don't forget Shapovalov and Felix. We hope to see you there!

Health & Wellness

As we transition to outdoor tennis, it’s much easier to find space & time to stretch after our sessions. Not only does it feel great, but your body will recover faster and will be ready for the next time on court. Follow this beginner (post-match) flexibility routine.

Danielle Collins and Grigor Dimitrov: Age-Defying Triumphs at the Miami Open

Danielle Collins: A Fairytale Farewell

Danielle Collins, the 30-year-old American, etched her name in tennis history during the Miami Open. In her farewell season, she achieved one of her major goals: winning her first-ever WTA 1000 event. Collins, who battled health issues including rheumatoid arthritis and endometriosis, stunned the tennis world by defeating No. 4 seed Elena Rybakina in the final. Her powerful hitting and unwavering determination made her the lowest-ranked woman ever to win the Miami Open. The crowd’s enthusiastic support made her feel like she was “playing in front of thousands of my best friends”, as she became the sixth American woman to claim this prestigious title.

Grigor Dimitrov: A Backhand Renaissance

Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov has orchestrated a remarkable comeback at the Miami Open. His journey to the final included impressive victories over top players. First, he upset top-seeded Carlos Alcaraz, securing his first win over a top-five player in nearly five years. Dimitrov’s elegant one-handed backhand, a rarity in today’s game, has been his secret weapon. His thrilling semifinal win against Alexander Zverev showcased his resilience and shot-making ability. By reaching the final, Dimitrov not only secured his return to the ATP Top 10 rankings but also heralded the resurgence of the single-handed backhand.

Lessons for Tennis Enthusiasts

  1. Passion Knows No Age: Both Collins and Dimitrov exemplify that love for the game transcends chronological age. Their unwavering commitment and hunger for victory fuel their success.

  2. Health Challenges Can’t Diminish Determination: Despite facing health setbacks, Collins and Dimitrov continue to compete at the highest level. Their resilience inspires us all.

  3. Back to Basics: Dimitrov’s classic one-handed backhand reminds us that sometimes simplicity and tradition hold the key to excellence.

As the Miami Open unfolds, let us celebrate these age-defying champions who prove that tennis is not just a sport—it’s a timeless pursuit of greatness.
